This certification, obtained through audits conducted by FQC Global Certification, validates the hospital’s adherence to stringent food safety standards in its kitchen operations.
The ISO 22000:2018 certification underscores Near East University Hospital’s dedication to ensuring food safety across all stages, including procurement, storage, preparation, and consumption. Commencing on 5 April 2023, and concluding on 5 July 2023, the certification process involved comprehensive training for kitchen staff members and collaborative efforts across various departments.
Serving approximately 1,500 individuals daily, including patients, attendants, staff, and students, the hospital’s kitchen is operated by a team of 33 dedicated professionals. Upholding a balance between taste and quality, the kitchen staff ensures food safety remains a top priority, aligning their services with technological advancements and global standards.
