Near East University, in collaboration with Dikmen Municipality, continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable community engagement. The Pre-School Teaching Club and the Social Research and Development Center of the Faculty of Education organized a series of workshops at Pınarbaşı Kindergarten, Yetenekli Eller Pre-School Education Center, and Elele Pre-School Education Center. The workshops, aimed at supporting early childhood education, were led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Dervişe Amca Toklu and Specialist Hulin Sıddık. These hands-on activities provided the children with a fun and educational experience, helping them develop key skills for their future learning.

Additionally, third-year students from the Faculty of Education organized an awareness display for November 20th, Children’s Rights Day, highlighting the importance of children’s rights and encouraging future educators to advocate for these rights. The event allowed teacher candidates to enhance their professional skills while deepening their understanding of child development and rights.
