Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dervişe Amca TOKLU, a faculty member of the Department of Preschool Teaching and a member of the Social Research and Development Center at the Near East University, the event received support from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeniz ŞENSOY and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem GÜLDAL KAN, other faculty members. A group of preschool teaching students, serving as activity leaders, actively participated in various events alongside the children.
As part of the awareness-raising initiative, the teacher candidates created banners and necklaces containing articles from the “Convention on the Rights of the Child,” which were intended as gifts for the children. Emphasizing the slogan “Children Learn About Rights When They Are Children,” the event aimed to instill an understanding of children’s rights among the participants.
