Prof. Dr. Özge Özden, as the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Near East University, participated in a 3-day training camp on “Environmental Protection and Sustainability.” The camp was organized in collaboration with AKTI Project and Research Center, Masder, and with the support of the Embassy of France in Cyprus and the French Institute. It took place in Kormakitis Village from September 22 to September 24, 2023, with a total of 23 participants.

The primary goal of the training camp was to raise awareness on Environmental Protection and Sustainability and to undertake various plans and projects for the future of the environment in Cyprus.

Prof. Dr. Özge Özden actively engaged in the camp, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture at Near East University, contributing to discussions and activities aimed at fostering environmental consciousness and encouraging initiatives for the future well-being of the Cypriot environment.
