Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education recently celebrated the culmination of its fairy tale writing competition on "Values in Tales," showcasing a profound commitment to integrating sustainable values into education. The competition, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), featured 28 original works that sought to promote values essential for a sustainable and equitable future.
Under the insightful coordination of Assist. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Güldal Kan and Seçil Besim Ayhan, the event unfolded within the framework of "Character and Values Education" and "Tales" courses, underscoring the university's dedication to nurturing socially responsible individuals. The expertly selected jury, composed of representatives from the TRNC Ministry of National Education and distinguished education specialists, meticulously assessed the submissions, emphasizing the importance of instilling values crucial for achieving SDGs.
