In a move to prioritize the health and well-being of its employees, Near East University has announced significant updates to its health insurance coverage starting in 2024. Collaborating with Near East Hayat, the company has introduced several key enhancements aimed at providing comprehensive protection for employees and their families.

One of the most notable updates is the introduction of unlimited coverage for inpatient treatments, ensuring that employees have access to necessary medical care without worrying about coverage limits. Moreover, outpatient treatment coverage has also been expanded, encompassing a wide range of services including doctor consultations, medications, diagnostic procedures, and more. Near East Hayat will cover 80% of outpatient treatment expenses, making healthcare more accessible and affordable for employees.

Additionally, dental examination and cleaning benefits are now included in the coverage, addressing not only medical but also dental health needs. Furthermore, the introduction of psychological counseling services, delivered through various methods such as voice, video, or messaging, emphasizes the company’s commitment to holistic employee well-being.
The updated coverage also includes preventive measures such as annual mammography for women over 40 and PSA screening for men over 40, promoting early detection and intervention for potential health issues.
