Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Director of Museums, Prof. Dr. Ali Efdal Özkul, stated that universities should not be seen solely as institutions that produce academic knowledge, but also as dynamic living spaces where culture is shared and transmitted. Prof. Dr. Burak Gökbulut, Chair of the Social Contribution Commission and Director of the Turkish Preparatory School, emphasized that museum visits contribute to inclusive learning and provide tangible reflections of the university’s social responsibility mission. Head of the Department of Turkish Language Teaching, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yeniasır, highlighted the role of museum experiences as powerful tools for cultural transmission and experiential learning.

As part of the program, participants visited the Cyprus Car Museum, Günsel Art Museum, Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, and the Herbarium and Natural History Museum, gaining insight into Cyprus’s artistic and natural heritage. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ulaş Hürdoğanoğlu delivered a hygiene training session focusing on personal hygiene, proper handwashing techniques, and healthy daily habits to enhance individual and social health awareness.
