Near East University, through the Faculty of Atatürk Education, and the Life-Long Education Center, conducted the ‘Informed Parent, Happy Child Certificate Program.’ The program received support from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Near East University. As part of this collaboration, Associate Professor Dr. Taygun Dayı, a faculty member in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and also a Pediatric Dietitian at the Near East University Hospital, delivered a public education presentation on December 5, 2023, titled ‘Child Health and Nutrition: Factors Influencing Growth and Development.’

The presentation, part of the ‘Informed Parent, Happy Child Certificate Program,’ addressed various aspects of child health and nutrition, focusing on factors that impact growth and development. Associate Professor Dr. Taygun Dayı provided valuable insights and practical applications during the informative session. The parent education program concluded successfully, incorporating a range of activities to enhance the learning experience.

The collaborative effort between the Faculty of Atatürk Education and the Faculty of Health Sciences aimed to empower parents with knowledge and skills to foster a healthy and happy environment for their children.
