The concept of multicultural education in preschool settings was comprehensively discussed during a seminar held at Near East University. Organized in collaboration with the Department of Preschool Education, the Office of the Student’s Dean, and the Preschool Education Club of the Atatürk Faculty of Education, the seminar introduced prospective teachers to inclusive approaches that support classroom interaction among children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Child Development Specialist and Family Counselor İdil Şengöz Tosun shared practical examples highlighting the positive effects of multicultural learning environments on children’s social-emotional development, empathy, and peer relationships. Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dervişe Amca Toklu, the event concluded with an interactive discussion and a certificate of appreciation presentation.
