The “Access to Healthy Food” project, led by the Cyprus Turkish Dietitians Association and funded by the European Union, aims to promote healthy eating habits among students in state primary schools. The project targets third- and fourth-grade students, with dietitians visiting schools to provide educational sessions and assess learning outcomes.

Among the participating dietitians were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hoca, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Near East University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taygun Dayı, faculty member in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Pediatric Dietitian at Near East University Hospital. Both contributed to delivering educational sessions and supporting the evaluation of students’ understanding of healthy nutrition practices.
