Near East University and Ege University Strengthen Collaboration with New Protocol

Near East University and Ege University have entered into an academic collaboration, further enhancing their international ties. The protocol was signed by Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Ege University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak during Prof. Şanlıdağ’s visit to Ege University in Turkey.

The agreement, developed as part of Near East University’s efforts to expand its academic collaborations, focuses on joint projects in education, research, and cultural activities. The protocol includes the implementation of student and academic exchanges, promoting interdisciplinary research, and promoting doctoral projects.


Both universities plan to organize joint seminars, conferences, and workshops to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration. In addition to scientific cooperation, the agreement will also promote cultural activities to further strengthen the academic and social bonds between the institutions.
