Near East University and Elderly Rights and Mental Health Association Sign Cooperation Protocol

Near East University and the Elderly Rights and Mental Health Association have joined forces during Elderly Respect Week by signing a meaningful cooperation protocol. The agreement aims to protect elderly individuals’ rights and improve their quality of life through collaboration in education, healthcare, and legal support. Additionally, scientific research focused on elderly rights will be conducted.

Signed by Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and the association’s President Prof. Dr. Hatice Jenkins, the protocol seeks to implement projects that enhance elderly individuals’ social participation and mental well-being.

The signing ceremony at Near East University was attended by Vice President Semral Erel and Board Member Fatman Gürmanoğlu from the Elderly Rights and Mental Health Association. Representing Near East University were Prof. Dr. Mutahhar Ulusoy, Prof. Dr. Gamze Mocan, Prof. Dr. Adile Öniz, Prof. Dr. Ümran Dal Yılmaz, and Yrd. Doç. Dr. Perçem Arman.
