Near East University and University of Sharjah Collaborate on Multidisciplinary Research, Advancing in Health and Engineering

Near East University and the University of Sharjah have showcased the outcomes of their collaborative research at the ASET 2023 congress in Dubai, organized by Higher Colleges of Technology. Ten studies, spanning health and engineering, were presented at the international conference, emphasizing the integration of multi-criteria decision-making and artificial intelligence applications. Near East University Health Operations Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin, serving as the conference series chairman, highlighted that the findings will be published in prestigious international journals affiliated with the Scopus index.

Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, Rector of Near East University, underscored the significance of representing their country on global platforms. He stressed their commitment to sharing scientific advancements for the benefit of humanity. Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ noted ongoing collaborations with institutions worldwide, with the University of Sharjah being a key partner.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin added that the collaborative works with the University of Sharjah bridge engineering and health fields, and the presented studies would be featured in esteemed international publications linked to the Scopus index. Additionally, she highlighted the initiation of academic partnerships and joint projects during the conference, emphasizing Near East University's commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through global scientific cooperation and knowledge dissemination.
