The Near East University Faculty of Communication organized a Poster Competition to commemorate World Water Day on March 22nd, with the theme “The Value of Water and Our Future.” High school students from various schools participated, highlighting the significance of water and the global water crisis through their creative designs.

The award ceremony, held at the Orange Hall, saw significant attendance from participants and their families. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, and Yusuf İnanıroğlu, Director of the General Secondary Education Department, gave opening speeches. Maria Shetakova from 19 Mayıs Turkish Education College won first place, followed by Azra Olkar from Mağusa Vocational High School in second place and Nehir Uluerkoç from Atatürk Vocational High School in third. The Special Jury Award was given to Nil Deniz Seçgen from Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School.
