Prof. Dr. Aşkın Kiraz, a faculty member at the Atatürk Faculty of Education, Near East University, organized a series of seminars for high school students in Istanbul from December 24-27, 2024. The seminars focused on key topics such as decision-making skills, career planning, managing exam anxiety, and enhancing motivation. Prof. Dr. Kiraz aimed to guide students in making more informed decisions regarding their education and future careers, offering practical strategies to help them understand themselves better and set clear goals.

 

A significant portion of the seminars was dedicated to addressing exam anxiety, with Prof. Dr. Kiraz providing insights into how students can manage stress and enhance their psychological resilience. The importance of personal motivation in making informed career choices was also emphasized, with advice on how students can boost their motivation during the decision-making process.

 

 

Additionally, the seminars aimed to improve students’ psychological well-being by equipping them with tools to manage stress and develop resilience. The discussions also highlighted the importance of career planning, helping students recognize the value of preparing for the future workforce through careful decision-making and setting realistic career goals.
