The Faculty of Education at Near East University, in collaboration with the Center for Social Research and Development and Dr. Suat Günsel Girne Preschool Education Center, organized an event titled “Station Technique and Exhibition in Early Childhood” at the Dr. Suat Günsel Girne Preschool Education Center. The event, which took place on December 16, 2024, involved second-year students from the Preschool Teaching Department.

The event gained significant interest from both children and teachers. Assist. Prof. Dr. Şebnem GÜLDAL KAN explained how the station technique and exhibition supported various developmental areas in early childhood education. She emphasized the importance of hands-on learning, with second-year preschool teaching students spending quality time with the children. The materials developed to support different developmental areas allowed the children to engage in experiential learning, creating a fun and educational environment.

Through the interactive station technique and exhibition, the students were able to gain theoretical knowledge while also experiencing practical approaches that could be applied in their future careers. The event proved to be a valuable experience for both the children and the students, as it highlighted the significance of interactive learning and provided an opportunity for them to engage in collaborative and practical education.
