Near East University Vocational School’s Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services organized a meaningful awareness event in collaboration with the Cancer Patients Aid Association as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the event, students offered hair, skin, hand, foot, and nail care to women undergoing cancer treatment, aiming to boost their morale and provide emotional support.

The activity created an atmosphere of compassion and encouragement, where patients found comfort and confidence through self-care, while students gained valuable awareness about social responsibility and empathy in healthcare. This initiative not only contributed to the well-being of women fighting cancer but also reinforced the university’s commitment to community engagement and health awareness.
