Near East University (NEU), ranked among the world’s top 500 universities, partnered with the TRNC Presidency to organize the “Sustainable Development Goals Summit.” Held under the Atatürk Faculty of Education, the summit brought together civil society organizations, public institutions, academics, and local government representatives. Supported by NEU’s Social Research and Development Center and the Digital Education and Information Unit Quality and Accreditation Coordination Office, the event aimed to strengthen institutional cooperation, raise public awareness, and create actionable roadmaps for the SDGs. Opening speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay and MP Armağan Candan, with Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay moderating the summit.
