Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education’s Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, in collaboration with the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Service of Near East Primary School, organized a “Toleration” Station Activity for 5th-grade students. The event was held with the participation of 3rd and 4th-year students from the department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling.

The aim of the event was to strengthen the emotional intelligence of the children and enhance their communication skills. By supporting students in empathy-building, emotional regulation, and effective communication, the event sought to contribute to the development of healthier, more socially and emotionally intelligent individuals.

The activity consisted of five stations, each featuring different activities designed to promote various aspects of emotional and social learning. Throughout the event, students practiced expressing themselves, engaging in polite communication, feeling a sense of teamwork, learning cooperation, and expressing negative emotions in a humorous way. The organizers observed that the students enjoyed the activities and actively participated.
