The Near East University Lifelong Education Center (YABEM) continues its community-oriented training programs by organizing a “Body Language and Anger Management” course for future police officers at the police school. Conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Tijen Zeybek, the training focused on enhancing communication, emotional control, and empathy skills essential for effective public service. The program aimed to help police trainees manage stress, regulate anger, and interact more empathetically with citizens while performing their duties.
Participants learned to strengthen their body language awareness, improve interpersonal communication, and foster trust-based relationships with the public. YABEM has previously collaborated with the Police School in programs such as “Social Skills Development and Problem Solving” and “Public Interaction and Communication,” ensuring continuity in professional and personal development training.
