Near East University’s Atatürk Faculty of Education organized its traditional “Science and Technology Festival,” bringing together 70 teacher candidates and 300 students from Near East Preschool and Near East Primary School. The event took place in the faculty’s foyer area on the university campus, allowing young children to experience science firsthand.

Under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Engin Baysen, teacher candidates from the Departments of Primary Education and Computer & Instructional Technologies prepared 30 interactive experiment stations. The future educators engaged students in fun and educational scientific activities, helping them understand key scientific concepts through hands-on learning.

The festival also included participation from academics and experts across different faculties, showcasing how technology can be integrated into education. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with teacher candidates, perform experiments, and actively contribute to the learning process.
