Near East University Sustainability Club
Near East University Sustainability Club is a student-led organization established to raise awareness on sustainability, encourage student engagement with environmental and social responsibility, and promote the values of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the university community.
The club brings together students who aim to contribute to a more sustainable future through awareness-raising activities, collaborative projects, volunteer work, and student participation in sustainability-related initiatives. It provides a platform where students can develop ideas, produce projects, and take an active role in environmental and social sustainability issues.
Purpose of the Club
The Sustainability Club was founded to promote the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthen sustainability awareness among university students. In this context, the club aims to:
- raise awareness and share knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals
- develop sustainability-focused projects and contribute to society
- increase students’ awareness of global environmental and social challenges
- encourage active participation, cooperation, and community responsibility
