The 7th International Conference on Natural Resources and Sustainable Environmental Management (NRSEM-2024) was successfully held from 12 to 14 December, bringing together leading researchers, academics, practitioners, and policy makers from around the world. Hosted by Near East University, the conference served as a dynamic platform to discuss innovative strategies for environmental conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Throughout three days of sessions, participants shared the latest scientific findings, best practices, and creative approaches aimed at addressing urgent environmental challenges. The event emphasized interdisciplinary cooperation, highlighting the need for integrated solutions that support biodiversity, climate resilience, and responsible resource governance.

One of the main goals of NRSEM-2024 was to increase awareness of the importance of protecting natural ecosystems while encouraging institutions and individuals to adopt environmentally responsible policies and practices. By presenting real-world case studies and research-based recommendations, the conference contributed to advancing global efforts toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at local, national, and international levels.

NRSEM-2024 continued the long-standing success of Near East University in this field, following previous international meetings including EEPCCM-2001, EPMR-2002, ESS-2007/2019, and the NRSEM conferences held in 2021 and 2023.
