Near East University Faculty of Communication organized an inter-high school “World Water Day Poster Competition” under the theme “The Value of Water and Our Future.” The contest encouraged students to raise awareness about the global water crisis through creative visual designs. The award ceremony, held at the Faculty’s Orange Hall with high participation, featured opening speeches by Dean Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap and Director of the Secondary Education Department at the Ministry of Education, Yusuf İnanıroğlu.

The winners were Maria Shetakova from 19 May Turkish Maarif College (1st place), Azra Olkar from Famagusta Vocational High School (2nd place), and Nehir Uluerkoç from Atatürk Vocational High School (3rd place). The Jury’s Special Award was presented to Nil Deniz Seçgen from Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School.
