On the occasion of World Disability Day, the Hair Care and Beauty Services Department of Near East University Vocational School visited the Lefkoşa 18+ Independent Living Home in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

During the visit, students met with young residents and carried out hair care and beauty practices aimed at supporting their self-confidence and well-being. The event provided an opportunity for meaningful social interaction while highlighting the importance of inclusion, empathy, and social responsibility. The initiative emphasized how personal care activities can contribute positively to emotional well-being and social integration for individuals with disabilities.
