An event titled “Preservation of Cultural Heritage in Architecture and Urban Development,” organized by the Faculty of Architecture at Near East University, brought together academics and students to discuss contemporary approaches to cultural heritage conservation.
The event was held with the participation of Chamber of Architects of KTMMOB President Onur Olguner.
Opening speeches were delivered by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and Onur Olguner. Topics such as the importance of protecting cultural heritage, green infrastructure in the context of cultural sustainability, and universal design in public spaces were addressed from architectural and urban studies perspectives.
