Near East University Hospital has opened its newly established “Smoking Cessation Clinic,” announced on National Quit Smoking Day. Smoking addiction remains a major public health threat, and the hospital organized the “Smoking Cessation Treatment in All Aspects Panel” to raise awareness and inform the public. The clinic’s treatment process is a 12-month follow-up program including blood tests, chest X-rays, pulmonary function and reversibility tests, psychologist interviews, psychometric tests, and six cessation examinations. Patients can also receive remote support, ensuring a comprehensive, personalized approach to quitting smoking.
