Near East University has signed two cooperation protocols with the TRNC Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to improve access to healthcare services for veterans and the families of martyrs and veterans. Under the agreements, beneficiaries will receive discounted healthcare services at Near East University Hospital, Near East University Hospital Yeniboğaziçi, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital, and the affiliated dental hospitals. They will also benefit from discounted access to the Near East Sports Tower and the Near East University Olympic Swimming Pool. The protocols were signed at the TRNC Parliament by Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel, Finance Minister Dr. Özdemir Berova, and Labour and Social Security Minister Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu.
