Near East University has signed an Animal Physiotherapy Training Cooperation Protocol with the Cyprus Turkish Physiotherapists Association and the Cyprus Turkish Veterinary Surgeons Union. The collaboration aims to strengthen scientific and practical education, expand clinical applications, and enhance professional expertise in animal physiotherapy across the Northern Cyprus. The protocol covers the development of an educational program, instructor training, theoretical and practical courses, and student registration processes. The university’s Faculties of Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine will provide academic expertise, educational content, laboratories, classrooms, and clinical facilities. The professional organizations will support legislative processes, registration, and sectoral coordination, contributing to the development of a legal framework for animal physiotherapy.
