Serving as one of the most comprehensive research and cultural centers in the region, the Near East University Grand Library offers unlimited access to accurate information with its 2.5 million printed books and over 1 billion digital resources. Housed in a modern 15,000-square-meter building, the library provides 24/7 digital access and hosts a variety of facilities, including study areas, amphitheaters, and exhibition spaces. With rich collections such as the Rare Books Collection—featuring over 10,000 works in literature, history, religion, and art—and the Cyprus Special Section, containing documents from the UK National Archives (1878–1975), the Grand Library bridges the past and the future by bringing together knowledge, culture, and art under one roof.

Open Courses platform
Near East University encourages continuous learning and actively supports public access to education through its Open Courses Platform, which provides free educational resources to individuals who are not enrolled at the university.

This platform offers open access to a wide range of lectures and learning materials, enabling anyone in the community to explore various subjects, develop new skills, and continue their education at their own pace.

Through the Open Courses platform, non-university participants can freely select and attend courses from multiple disciplines. Upon successful completion of each module, learners receive a Certificate of Completion approved by NEU Open Courses. These certificates support personal development and enhance professional portfolios, contributing to broader community learning and empowerment.

With this initiative, Near East University reinforces its commitment to inclusive education and lifelong learning by ensuring that knowledge and academic resources are accessible to all members of society.

Note: The platform is open to everyone, and no university affiliation is required. Individuals who are not enrolled at the university can also register for free and log in to access the course content.
