Near East University and Cyprus International University Launch Comprehensive Academic Partnership

Near East University and Cyprus International University have signed a comprehensive academic cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening scientific productivity through joint projects and increased student mobility. The protocol was officially signed at a ceremony held at Near East University by NEU Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi.

The signing ceremony was attended by CIU Board of Trustees Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet Adalıer, NEU Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan, and Director of the Near East Institute Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı.

Under the protocol, the two universities will collaborate on faculty and researcher exchange programs, sharing expertise across academic fields, and developing joint projects, conferences, seminars, and workshops. These initiatives aim to actively involve both academics and students in scientific production processes. Additionally, student exchange opportunities will allow participants to experience different campus cultures and enhance their international competencies. Shared access to libraries, laboratories, and digital resources will further enrich the research environment for both institutions.
