Near East University and Patika Nature Sports Association have signed a cooperation protocol to promote environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, digital balance, and volunteerism. The partnership will support joint activities including nature walks, first aid and nature safety training, environmental awareness events, and digital detox programs. Projects such as “NEU Nature and Digital Detox Days,” “NEU Nature Ambassadors and Volunteer Program,” and the “TRNC Digital Nature Atlas” will encourage students and staff to engage with nature and environmental initiatives. The collaboration will also digitize walking routes, document natural and cultural heritage, and organize social support and healthy living activities for different community groups.
