Near East University and the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTHK) have signed a cooperation protocol to accelerate the digital transformation of the TRNC. The partnership will focus on digital education, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital certification, and entrepreneurship. Joint activities will include strategy workshops, policy development, digital awareness and cybersecurity training, and the “Young Digital Ambassadors”program. The collaboration will also support hackathons, startup initiatives, and projects seeking international funding. By bringing together academia, the public sector, and industry, the partnership aims to develop sustainable digital transformation strategies and strengthen digital skills among young people.
