A health sponsorship protocol signed between the TRNC National Olympic Committee and Near East University Hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare support to athletes representing the TRNC and Türkiye in international competitions. The agreement covers major sporting events, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Islamic Games, Mediterranean Games, Balkan Games, and World and European Championships. Under the protocol, athletes will benefit from medical services and health monitoring throughout their preparation and competition processes. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East Enterprises, and Orçun Kamalı, President of the TRNC National Olympic Committee, in the presence of senior representatives from sports and healthcare institutions.
