The Near East University Faculty of Communication organized an awards ceremony for the “World Water Day Poster Competition,” bringing together high school students to raise awareness about the importance of water resources. The event, supported by the Communication Research Center, attracted significant participation and highlighted environmental responsibility through creative student work.

Nearly 200 entries were submitted from 16 high schools, showcasing students’ awareness and artistic interpretations of water conservation and sustainability. The competition aimed to encourage young people to develop a stronger understanding of environmental protection and sustainable resource use.

At the ceremony, winning students were awarded prizes for their posters, while jury members and sponsors received certificates of appreciation for their contributions. The event emphasized the role of education and creative expression in promoting environmental consciousness among younger generations.
